Criteria - Reporting
This is a straightforward description of the artwork. It does not explore the ‘essence’ of the work but focuses on the apparent features. Imagine that you are describing it to someone who cannot see it. (For the final submission, collaborate in order to combine perceptions and observations. Create a broader, group report of the piece. Marks will be given for clarity, detail of observation and perception).

'Seasons' critiqued by Kelly Hansen
The art piece I am reviewing is a reasonably detailed felt paper collage and uses the four seasons as the theme. The collage is divided into four sections spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The seasons begin from the left of the page and continue to the right. Each season shares a tree in the middle that is separated by having one half of the tree with a spring design and the other half of the tree with a summer design. This is also the case with autumn and winter.
Each of the seasons also have a sun and a pond in it and the colour of these change accordingly to the specific season. They all display a variety of plants and wild life such as, lady beetles, frogs, bee’s and in one season a lizard. The plant and wild life vary throughout in accordance to the season.
The spring section displays cool colours by using a number of shades of green, blue’s and displays flower blossoms. The summer section also displays a variety of cooler colours such as yellow, blue and green and shows signs of rain. Autumn displays warm colours such as red, two shades of brown and leaves falling from trees. Winter uses cooler colours such as grey, two shades of blue and visible snow.
